Contains ≃100 grams of Demeter quality grapefruit seed extract. A portion of 10 grams covers 1 pass for 1 ha.
Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) is of interest to farmers and winegrowers for the treatment of cryptogamic diseases (mildew, powdery mildew, etc.) as well as the care of pets and farm animals.
Château Vent d'Autan located in the Lot department in France, produces highly concentrated GSE, certified A.B. and Demeter under the Organic Line® brand. Organic Line® produces the only Demeter-certified organic grapefruit seed polyphenol on the European market. They use a process for extracting grapefruit seeds by molecular transfer on an aqueous support without solvent which respects the European specifications for certified organic production. The extraction is not filtered in order to preserve its optimal benefit, it presents a slight deposit. Some batches may show a slight release of gas upon opening which does not modify the properties.
The final product presented in a 100ml glass bottle does not contain any oily additions (no glycerin) or synthetics or preservatives, its shelf life is approximately 2 to 3 years, bottle closed, in the shade and in a cool place. Shake the preparation before each use. Consume within a month once opened and refrigerated.
Depending on the agricultural and climatic hazards of the countries of origin of the grapefruit seeds, the concentrations they obtain vary slightly to reach up to 82% of total polyphenol index. The rarity of Demeter-certified organic grapefruits makes them a rare and precious product.
Grapefruit seed is a powerful natural antimicrobial, antibacterial and fungicide, with no toxic effect on humans and animals. Grapefruit seed is used on plants in agriculture (moulds, aphids, slugs, udders, cages and stalls) and, in viticulture, on plants for cryptogamic attacks (mildew, powdery mildew, fungal infections).
For information: The GSE produced by Château Vent d'Autan is certified in biology (AB and Demeter biodynamics) but it is not ecological, in the sense that the grapefruits come from Sicily or Israel, because there is no there is no grapefruit in Demeter in France (traceability of raw materials) therefore the carbon footprint is not favorable given the distances travelled.
